After School Club and Breakfast Club

All our wraparound care is run on a pre-book pre-pay system on the Arbor Portal/App.

Please register on Arbor, log on and book any After School Club sessions you require before 12.00 noon on the day you require the session. 

Breakfast club sessions must be booked on the Arbor portal/App by 8pm the day before.

After 3.15pm, please use the ASC mobile for any emergency such as late pick up or a different person collecting your child.

If you have booked a session and then no longer require it, you must email the school office at least an hour before, and they can remove the booking for you.

If you pay with vouchers or via the Government Tax Free Childcare then you need to speak to Mrs Murley in the school office so she can set up your Arbor wraparound care account so that you can book sessions without getting charged. A debt will show on your account, and we will then deduct your voucher payments from this monthly.

We will always be able to accommodate your request to book sessions.

At Oaklands Primary School, we understand that due to work commitments it may be necessary for you to leave your children in our care, outside of school hours.

With this in mind at the start of the day, we offer a Breakfast Club running from 7.45am until the school day commences. Children can enjoy a wide range of healthy cereals, toast and pastries. After breakfast the children can engage in a range of craft and construction activities to keep them busy. 

At the other end of the day, our After School Club runs until 6pm.

This club runs in three sessions;

session one from 3.15pm-4.30pm,

session two from 3.15pm-6.00pm, and

session three from 4.15pm-6.00pm.

Parents can pick their children up at any time within the hours of their chosen session but will be charged for the full sessions booked. The third option is for parents whose children attend a club straight after school, but need the ASC after the club.

Both Breakfast Club and After School Club are run by Oaklands' experienced and dedicated staff. We use in-house staff to ensure that the consistency and expectations from the school day continue into the evening. The children are safe and happy, and have a range of engaging activities to choose from including a choice of indoor or outdoor play.

At ASC all children can help themselves to a fruity snack from a mixed-fruit platter and a drink at the start of each session, and children staying for either of the later sessions will also enjoy a light snack, carefully planned for its nutritional links to our main meals at lunchtime.

2025/2026 Wraparound care rates are as follows:

Breakfast Club £4.50 per session

After School Club session 3.15pm-4.30pm is £7.50

After School Club session 3.15pm-6pm is £13.00

After School Club session 4.15pm-6.00pm is £8.00
